joshz18 Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 Hey, I have a 2sc rona, when mucking around in it I can chuck it through a left hander fine no dramas but when i do the same into a right hander the car cuts out badly like a lack of petrol in the tank in an efi car, I know this isn;t my problem as it doesn;t change even on a full tank of petrol, Is there any way around this bar going to a weber (have on good authority that fixes things) but would prefer not to waste the money on a shitter. Any tips would be muchly appreciated. Quote

coln72 Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 it says like an efi car........not that it is efi. Quote
joshz18 Posted December 13, 2008 Author Report Posted December 13, 2008 yeah nah is a carby, was just the best way of explaining it, I ordered a weber adapter plate today and have a 32/26 dfav weber ready to go on, so that'll fix it hopefully Quote
Super Jamie Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 try adjusting your float level, sounds like the intake jets may be starving of fuel. the floats themselves may even be old and perished and holding petrol you also might want to make sure fuel isn't leaking out the top of the carby. if so, time for a carby kit. sounds like that may be a good idea anyway a factory manual will have the procedure for taking the carb apart, and what the float levels should be and how to adjust them Quote
