Hey guys

I'm looking at putting a T series diff into my ke70 as it will be getting a ca18det soon and the diff that's in it is completely rooted. Ive read in a few places there's a couple of different series or models of T series diffs, And I'm just wondering if anyone would have some info to help me out with which one i should choose.

Cheers, Greene

might be a better idea to go something a little stronger, T's are strong to a point but after a while i reckon youd want more power so id recommend looking for an F series diff at least (out of an mx13 corona, or various taragos) or an r31 or a hilux diff.. even tho none of these will bolt in so mounts will have to be welded on.. how ever do it once, do it right.. i reckon...

my 2c anyway..

A topic covered a mere 2 million times before.

Ive organised a treasure hunt. The information you require is contained within several threads on the site. Now its up to you to find it.

Basic options are as follows,

JDM AE86 (costs a packet approx $1200-1500, has 2 axle sizes, mostly have disc brakes or small drums)

Celica (bit wider, mounts a bit off but will work, big drum brakes, cheap, around $300)

T18 (Bad ratios for atmo motors like 3.7 and 3.9 mostly and all have drum brakes, costs around $400).

There are finer points to all of these. You will need a matching tailshaft for all of these, and an sv11 handbrake centre cable to make the jdm ae86 handbrake work.

If you wanna know more then Id suggest read some people rides threads or try some more specific questons.

Merry Christmas.
