Broken Mirror

Featured Replies

i adjuted my mirror this morning and the bloody thing broke (the glass cracked) . i was wondering where i should go to get a new peice of glass or how much of it needs to be replaced?

an help would be appreciated...

Depends where you are in Melbourne, but I would try a wreckers first. Shouldnt cost you too much to replace. Would be worth just checking the price from Toyota too, some times parts are weirdly cheap.

i would say peter robbo but his such a tight ass i wouldnt bother, he would probly try to sting you 100 buks

if your around oakleigh area try center rd wreckers their always cheap

good luck

ae9x? if so probably easier to just got to a wrecker and get a complete unit, i think i paid ~$50 for my electric mirror on my seca, and it would probably be less than that for a manual version.

then its only a case of removing the door trim, the adjusting handle on the mirror, then 3 screws and the mirror practically falls off, then its the reverse to install.
