theravenous Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Hey guys, this has been my first project car for the good part of a year. Its a 82 Ke70 Wagon (almost)running a 4age Blacktop. Have a look and tell me what u think. I was planning on later supercharging it but have been told that doing so would turn the engine into a ticking time bomb :y: p.s i haven't started work on the exterior yet  Quote
SLO-030 Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 (edited) Hey mate. Lookin good :y: Those trumpets look horn Supercharging would have no different effect on the motor than if you turbo. and I'm sure people have turbo'd 20V's before without complication. I've heard they have stronger internals than GZE 16v's, might be the silver tops only tho  Edited February 28, 2009 by SLO-030 Quote

Sam_Q Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 (edited) mystic is on the money I think, if you are carefull it can be done, if your really keen you could put some aftermarket or 4agze pistons in there. So how did you lower the back end? with lowering blocks? I want to do up my wagon in due time with some light mods and while it will be lowered sadly it wont be quite as low as yours. You will sure get some looks driving this around. I like wagons but I hate your firewall bash and the external cooling pipes. Whats your plans for filtration? socks? you may get a few more kw but running some different trumpets even at the same length but what you have will will just fine too. Oh and any plans for the diff? I kept on breaking mine in my old corolla wagon. "havent started on the exterior"?? looks finished? what do you have in mind? Edited February 28, 2009 by Sam_Q Quote

I'm not a 4A expert and don't feel like becoming one any time soon :( Quote

"havent started on the exterior"?? looks finished? what do you have in mind? yea I'm not a fan of the firewall job ether but being a student its all the budget could allow  as for the pipes agreed it looks a tad tacky and will be changed when the funds are back up. As for filtration i plan on getting some steel trumpets made up by a mate of mine. Haha and the diff yea well we will wait and see..... Pretty much everything you see exterior wise was how i bought it, paint is a tad rough and so are the bolt on flares. still a tidy wagon but theres always room for improvement right? Quote
