demuire Posted May 21, 2005 Report Posted May 21, 2005 I'm throwing stuff at it randomly, whenever I get time... It's not that hard to drive, or at least to do the basic functions. Quote
wyldephyre Posted May 21, 2005 Author Report Posted May 21, 2005 I'm going to start a little reorganisation... just assigning categories to stuff, and make a new section for car audio, and import tiger's stuff. Quote
wyldephyre Posted May 21, 2005 Author Report Posted May 21, 2005 Could someone write some intro text for the fuel system category page? http://www.rollaclub.com/wiki/index.php?ti...ory:Fuel_System Quote
wyldephyre Posted May 22, 2005 Author Report Posted May 22, 2005 (edited) Drivetrain category page is also needing text. http://www.rollaclub.com/wiki/index.php?ti...gory:Drivetrain Edited May 22, 2005 by wyldephyre Quote
wyldephyre Posted May 22, 2005 Author Report Posted May 22, 2005 I think it may also be worthwhile adding a "How To Wiki" in plain language? Because I find it a little confusing myself at times I'll write one up now... Quote
wyldephyre Posted May 22, 2005 Author Report Posted May 22, 2005 Done playing for now, will do more. I've started writing help articles, if there's anything else in there that you would like addressed, plonk in a headings, maybe along with a note, and I'll fill them in over the course of the week. http://www.rollaclub.com/wiki/index.php?title=Help:Contents Quote
demuire Posted May 23, 2005 Report Posted May 23, 2005 Some questions: Why are some of the changes by "127.0.0.1"? Is someone making changes from the server itself (localhost) without logging on? Secondly, in "Current Events" and "Help: Contents", what's with the many many links to... is it spam??? Quote
demuire Posted May 23, 2005 Report Posted May 23, 2005 Can we set it up so that only registered members can edit/post? Quote
wyldephyre Posted May 23, 2005 Author Report Posted May 23, 2005 (edited) There's a knob you have to set in the config file... In LocalSettings.php, add the line: $wgWhitelistEdit = true; This will force users to create an account to make changes. Edited May 23, 2005 by wyldephyre Quote
