CALE12 Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 Can ya get a thicker head gaskets to fit a k engine ?? if so where and how much ... got to much compression need to get it down... (but can touch the pistons or modify the head) Quote
philbey Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 (edited) Probably need to get a custom one made. I would suggest your best bet is to have some volume added to your combustion chamber, that might be more straightforward. Edited March 27, 2009 by philbey Quote

COROLLAANDY Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 I've heard of guys using two head gaskets. Does anyone know if this is a usable alternative?? Quote
kiahn Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 (edited) I've heard of guys using two head gaskets. Does anyone know if this is a usable alternative?? this sounds very risky, id imagine it would blow the gasket with half the effort might be possible with metal head gasket? buy a single thicker one, with two there would be a massive soft spot. cost less in long run to buy thick gasket "but can touch the pistons or modify the head" is this supposed to be "but CAN'T touch the pistons or head"??
