4age Rebuild Prices

i got a quote for pistons, rings, bearings(mains,big ends), full gasket set, and thrust washers

 

it was nearly a grand is this about average for a 4age rebuild???

i got pistons with rings and everything and also a complete full rebuild gasket, ring and washer set from a guy here all for $500

just so you know I'm doing a 4age conversions into ke70 and ive spent about $900 and got almost all the parts i need, spending another 300 this weekend

you should be able to rebuild your engine completely with new oil and water pumps for $1000

 

just a few things i'd consider if your looking to save money

can you reuse your old pistons and just buy new rings?

do you have ebay account to buy gaskets off there? you can get full set for around $500

including the washers and rings.

just looking thought my invoice folder

 

and a for new pistons, rings, bearings, thrust bearings, welsh plugs, conrod gudgen pins re-bushed, bored ,surface grind, polished crank and acid dipped

 

 

was a grand total of $828

 

and thats using all acl pistons and bearings

 

and i always use a genuine toyota head gasket :wink: ;)

Hey Just a heads up fellas, I just went through the same business of High 4age price's.

Spoke to a fella I get my chev parts from in the states.

Orderd parts threw him heaps heaps cheaper.

He has a wholesale import/export company over there!!

I Can get Full Bearing set and Full Gasket set

Main/Rod/Thrust Bearings These come in a box NAKAMOTO.

But are ACL bearings distributed by this company.

ACL is stamped on the bearing!!!!!!!!

Full gasket kit is great All main gaskets, plus crank and oil pump seal, Cam seals, Valve stem seals,

Small and Big port inlet, Sump gasket Everything!!!!!!

Can do $215 the lot plus Oz shipping only.

Will get photo's if every1 interested.

If I didnt get my pistons already I would have got a full kit,

PISTONS, RINGS, BEARINGS, FULL GASKET SET, OIL PUMP, WATER PUMP.

OIL FILTER, TIMING BELT. $550 p/ oz ship.
