i was majorly pissed off that you can't race the caterham 7 in normal races...i spent alot of money on the bloody thing and now i can use it for is pratice....its f@$king bullshit...

I didn't realise you couldn't race the Caterham. That's just ridiculous. Why didn't they put in a race for just those special cars (eg. Nike 2022, Toyota Motor Triathlon, Caterham 7, etc)? They'd better correct that error in GT5.

because they're all open cars, with visible drivers, or cars that require additional graphics processing. the ps2 isn't powerful enough to calculate AI of other cars, and control the movements of your driver in an open-top car at the same time. that's why when you race with an mx5, they conveniently put the removable hardtop on it, but if you're driving in photo mode or on your own, it's open and you can see the driver watching the road and shifting gear and what not

It wouldn't want to be. I hadn't actually driven any cars in practice sessions. Now I'll have to try out my Nike 2022 and Toyota thingy.

the nike is just stupid. the toyota thing is interesting, it's got a CVT so it appears like it has just one gear, but can take off quickly but still reach high speeds. i had a gt4 thread around here somewhere i'm sure of it :)
