Just a stupid topic for you

 

I was talking to this guy driving a Capri the other day about his exhaust and it sounded sweet. He told me he had removed the centre muffler. I assume this is the resonator so I was thinking about removing mine in my KE55.

 

I'd rather people not tell me to go buy a full exhaust system because I haven't got the time, nor money and Mum won't let me because she believes I'll make too much power and "prang", being a P-plater and all.

 

I understand that it might be a bit loud and such, so I'm going to put some flanges on it to make it interchangable with some straight-through pipe - just in case. I'm planning it for the school holidays so my question is:

Has anyone done this or have any suggestions?

Hey dude after being an exhaust fitter for 15years the cost involved in doing this will give u absolutely sweet FA.if u have the cash to waste like that save and get a real system, i know u didnt want to hear that but save ur pennies bud. KEEP ON ROLLIN ROLLIN. JAY

Ive got 4 into 1 extractors and a straight thru 2inch pipe with a single straight thru muffler (NOT CANNON).

 

Crackles, pops, farts and shoots flames on mega over run.

 

 

If your on a budget, google "keybangers". Do a few of them and it should make a hole in your rear muffler. Mine had a hole the size of my fist in the bottom and later found it had split the seam on the top. AND IT SOUNDED TOUGH :dance:

key bangers FTW alittle off topic but a mate had a slanty front KE70 and he used to key bang it every where we were cruising through surfers one sat nite and he go up to 50 clicks and ripped a huge one going threw cavill ave(for those of you in qld that know it) and had everybody ducking and dodging it was hilarious haha

 

key bangers are when you turn the car off with it still moving stand on the pedal a couple of times then turn the car back on it fills the cylinders up with fuel then shoots a spark into it then bangs and fires a fireball thing through the exhaust and makes a loud bang

HAHAHA that's funny shit.

 

I did that once by accident and it scared me stupid. Drove home with my tail between my legs.
