I just bought a 3T-GTEU or 3SGTE front cut its the 1.8 litre turbo out of a celica. Can i fit it into my KE70, if so has anyone done it before and taken notes on how to do it.

Standard ECU isn't much chop anyway. Besides you only need a fuel only computer to run them. They're getting on a bit now, and I think contemplating a rebuild sooner rather than later for one would be wise.

i just dug this one up because ive been offered a 3t-gteu for $1000. it has just been rebiult. as far as i know it has been in a ke30 and it has also just been rebiult. does anyone know if they make decent power and are they a very strong motor.

 

can much be done to these engins without reducing reliability?

Check out the Team Toyminator site, heaps of AE/TE/KE70 coupes running decent numbers with said engines.
