Reminds me of the time I picked up a very old 18RG. It ran, but badly... so in the process of changing all the fluids and plugs etc, I managed to break off a spark plug electrode down into number 2 cylinder.

I fired it up anyway... It made a godawful noise for about 20 seconds while I held the revs up until the errant electrode made its way out out the cylinder, into the exhaust, and blew primary muffler apart.

 

Good times, good times.

Well I think it happened when i was having fueling issues had the manifold throttle off so it was just a big hole to spray ez start down. Bolts and nuts where every where.

 

Amazingly there are no detonation points. Next task is to take the valves out for a better inspection of the seats and go from there.

 

I might not have any ceramic coating left on the piston but at least it has been work hardened now LOL :P
