June 18, 200917 yr comment_353168 is it even possible to put one of these in a rwd car? 135hp would be nice if it's possible to make it work with my K-series gearbox Report
June 18, 200917 yr comment_353191 Any engine conversion is possible with enough research, time and money!! Getting a 4efte to bolt up to a K50 IS however impossible. :y: Report
June 19, 200917 yr comment_353209 the hardest part would be trying to get a rwd gear box to bolt up does any one have 4efte engien ? check and see if its close to the k or t series g/box you might have to get an adapter made for it but still sounds like a fun idea i like Report
June 19, 200917 yr comment_353384 T-series g'box with the A-series bellhousing should bolt up fine. But i don't know if the flywheel will be ok to use cause the motor as far as i know wasn't used in a RWD car. But it does have the RWD mounts (or at least from what i've seen and could work out). You'll have to relocate a few of the bolt-on bits, brackets and pipes so that you can get to the mounts. The next problem is that the dizzy is at the back of the head.... Report
June 19, 200917 yr comment_353388 id use a T50 no mater what, i don't think i'd trust a K50 behind anything more than a K engine Report
