Cheers Roo, she was pulling to the left a bit also due to having different size tyres on each side. Would have put the same size on each end of the car but I didn't want to be hassled for being a uleh with stockies on the back.

Well this beast is not far off being ready for the road, just gotta put in the 3k and tyres, fixed a few niggling problems like the handbrake, etc but it is coming together nicely.

 

I am going to look at another corolla today, all I could get out of the farmer that owns it is "Its a 2 door with a rebuilt motor and if you don't buy for $50 it it is going to the scrap yard" I have a feeling it will be coming home with me tonight. :osama:

Fresh reco 4k, has some wierd holes in the body, no brakes.

 

I am going to try to pick it up in the next couple of days.

No updates but I tidied up in the back yard today and had a family shot of the other cars including the new ke20 I got for $50.

 

ke20 is pretty odd it has a speedo in both km/h and mph, it also has full chrome around the windows, under the doors. must be something to do with the "deluxe" badging.

Ok, another item is going to be crossed off the list tomorrow, getting all new bridgestone tires fitted and balanced for $360, could have got a cheaper brand for $70 per tire, but the last thing I want is to lose control and write this girl off because of shit tires.

Tyres done, took it for a drive around the block, drives perfectly straight now, plenty of guts.

 

Just gotta straighten that steering wheel up by a few teeth lol.

Ignore the plates.... Because it spends a lot of time out the front I was always being hassled to sell it since it was not beiung used. Only another month and it will be in daily use hopefull :dance:

Gah, had to take one of the new tyres back, it had a slow leak.

 

Ordered new shackle bushes for the rear end today, the ones on it would get knocked back for rego. Only noticed this because my brother in law was over on the weekend and he does suspension work as his job.
