so what size of pri & sec jets usually use for stock 4k..?

No idea. Unless you have a workshop manual, you'd need to open up your carb and see what size is in there to start with.

on the way home some c**t was tail gating me, so i looked in the mirror and planted it and GOD WAS THERE SMOKE

it only happend in the high revs, so secondary jet is over fueling?

get a 3k carby, pull it down to every last nut and bolt, soak it overnight in a container of carby cleaner ( i just sprayed each parts with the can while holding it over a container.

I then rebuilt it to exact specs it says in the Toyota K motor manual. ran so perfect after that. no hesitation on take off, better responce, and way better fuel economy. did a 350-400 kay trip on about 40 litres. and thats a stock 4k, 4 speed, sat on 100 on the hwy, did a bit of town driving too, and i had me, missus, bub, pram, and other junk in car.

i had a 3kc and a ke70 4kc carby but a chose the 4kc carb

still don't no where some of the emission vacuum lines go, runs better than before

i mite rebuild the 3kc and try it on one day

You only need 2 vacuum lines, one for the vacuum advance, which is on the carby side closest to the tappet cover, and one for the Charcoal canister, which connects to the plate between the carby and manifold. side closest to the strut tower. Block the rest off if any.

just brough a ke70 and it was shocking on gas and slugish, went and brought some carbie cleaner, new plugs, air filter, fuel filter, oil and oil filter, did the carbon trick..squirt water down the carbie checked tyre pressure...they were all like 22psi except for 1 which was 11psi so fixed it all up and boy you can feel the difference nearly 200km since i filled up last and its only hitting half way now, not to sure if my secondries are working tho how can i check ive looked down the carbie while giving it gas and can only see one jet squirting gas??

ok everything is sorted with the ke70 manual carby on my ke55,

i swapped the ke70 carby hat aswell (draws air from the battery instead of the radiator hence cold air intake)

I HAD A SHOCK, i can't hear the exhaust anymore just a awsome induction (bog stock)

buy a can of carby cleaner and flashlube injector cleaner i did that all the time. and a clean fuel air filter. i don't think a 3k carb is worth it. rebuiling carbs is easy. and you have no flat spots
