flat out Posted September 15, 2009 Report Share Posted September 15, 2009 hey guys, went to drop my starter motor i got in an engine package in and it turned out that it doesnt fit, on the end where the cog is its too long and wont go in to the bellhousing far enough, foules on the bellhousing pretty much, now the engine i have is a smallport 4age with a 212mm 20v flywheel, I'm not sure what the plate between the bellhousing and block, i asume 4ac? i don't want to go out and get a new starter for a 4ac or what ever if thats what i already have, so can any one help only thing i can find on the starter is the writing nippon denso thanks casey Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sam_Q Posted September 18, 2009 Report Share Posted September 18, 2009 even the big 230mm ZE flywheel uses the same ring-gear, it has an off shaped step for the flywheel mounts to be much further out than the ring gear, this is why they don't fit into a T50 RWD bellhousing.
