October 17, 200917 yr comment_382918 Hey there guys, when removing the rear seal on a k-50 gearbox, what have people used to get the mother trucker out, i heard someone say once that a big fish hook would work, alas i don't have any of those :jamie: Any other common household items? Cheers, Steven Report
October 17, 200917 yr comment_382941 what about a screw driver to get behind it and pry it out? you can buy a tool, its like a small screw driver except it has a 90 degree bend with a point at the end, that the best thing for seals usually. I'm guessing thats what its made for :jamie: Report

October 18, 200917 yr comment_382976 The metal cover thing that is attached to the rear of the extension housing can easily be tapped off. Gives you much easier access to remove the seal with just a screwdriver. Report
