A KE30 with a Commo V6 in place, with a HiLux diff conversion already and I believe it's bolted up to a T50 (i'll confirm that when I ask him how much he'd want for it.. hehehehehe)

None... I saw with my own eyes, the standard VN Auto tranny... TH700-R. Apparently, this bolted straight in and no fab work! According to the guys.

IF it was manual, they said it'd be a bit more of a headache to fit. And getting the engine in to begin with wasn't a major deal. "Went straight in also". He has to make up engine mounts, but he's a steel fab worker... so it'll be child's play for him, he reckons.

But what's the point of putting a 125kW lump of shit engine into a KE55 when you can drop in something like a 185kW 3S-GTE work of art?

Ah.... you can get v6 stroker kits, you can blow em, you can twin turbo em... but yeah... each to their own, I guess.

Oh hell yes, I'd support 3S over SR, but last I recall Tiger seemed to lean toward SR.

hahahaha! I'm tossing up now 3S and 13B... I NOW have a steel fab boy in the same factory as I... and he was also an engine rebuilder for 10 years!!!!

 

He thinks both conversions are easy! So I have found the man to help me do some dirty work! :(

i think you'll find a 13b is illegal. naturally aspirated 12a is the most you can put in in most states. look it up before you get your heart set on it
