I have been searching for info on this car ever since seeing a pic on here.

 

So here you go, for those looking for info on how to mod KE1x series. Though it doesn't actually say much about mods to the front suspension really which is what I was hoping for

Hey,

 

This is my car, and have just got her back out of the garage, dusted off the old tyres and ran around QR sprints last weekend.

 

Haven't driven it for a while but a 1.00.17 (i think) felt good and was a heap of fun.

 

If you want to know anything, just ask and i'll try and answer.

Keen as mustard to know what front end setup you run? Ditched the leaf spring I'm guessing? Coilovers?

Such a nice read, and interesting little setup,

 

I like the plates, and the nifty turbo, handy to have power at anytime for the weight of the car

I should probably put up the pictures i have in the build stage, but yes the transverse leaf was ditched for a coil over setup.

 

koni adjustable shocks and coil over springs, we started with 225lbs then

added a custom front sway bar - then removed it

and have moved up to 500lbs front springs

 

i think from memory Corona XT lower front control arms gives her the wider front stance, and adjustable front camber

 

currently approx -6 degrees front, too much for what i am now doing whith her.

 

She has currently 206kw at the wheels and is an absolute ball to drive.

it says custom relocated crossmember? did you adapt a ke30 one to fit or use the origional without the leaves in?
