Valve Clearances In Faq

for a 4k it says .005 and .009 does that mean .005 for intake and .009 for exhust .sorry bout all question as I'm still waiting for my car manuel to arrive ,it takes a week to get anything here in kalgoorlie

in my manual it says valve clearance (hot) :

Intake : 0.20mm

Exhaust : 0.30mm

 

 

this is from my 82 e7 manual.

Mismatched units of measurements and hot/cold.

 

Cold

0.009in = 0.23mm out

0.006in = 0.15mm in

 

Hot

0.012 = 0.30mm out

0.008 = 0.20mm in
