I'm with you on this, when I go to a Self Serve place I like to check things like km's etc. No point pulling a gearbox out of a car with 400,000 k's on it :hmm:

 

Oh yeah? The box in my car is tight as f@$k with 316k on it, the 3rd gear syncro is shot though, but that's because I'm gay and think I'm a rally driver when I shift :y:

LOL, amen to that, same here. Except I have a million cars and have consequentially never run one box long enough for it to get upset with me.

So, when did they take this photo?? Rolls Royce bought out Armstrong Siddeley (my first car, and first project!) and when they closed the plant some years later the Armstrong car club were donated all the spares.. Seem we will have to do that ourselves in a few years, take all the left-over KE series cars from the wreckers before they crush them and stack them somewhere dry!
