  1. A buddy did a photo shoot with a proper camera but he is taking his time.. They will be posted, for now I have these:
  2. Reminds me why I love the 124 body.. Less rubber and ground clearance it'd be perfect ;)
  3. Haha, it's okay. It's sort of a shit box, but I love the way the Mk3 drives and looks. It's a car with character, like old Rollas (compared to say an E10 which I also got, great car but lacks soul), plus they're stupidly easy to build and the VW thing is huge in Norway, so the shows are always good :)
  4. Sam_Q, thanks dude :) I gotta snap some pics of the whole toy barn one day, that's like 1/6th of me and a friend's car pad :) Spencer, VW never brought out a Mk2 VR6, even though it's a common swap. Also, that's a Mk3.
  5. A buddies' latest track, in the dubstep genre: http://soundcloud.com/gonzzzor/portal I dig it.
  6. Something like that yeah.. :D haha Nah, we've been putting some real work into that place for the last couple of months, plus I bought a Cressida which needs as much work as this Corolla, but it's not being built to the same level. On this one we're talking loads of chrome, 4AGE, air ride, paint to perfection.. In other words, lotsa $$$ and time, sadly I have none of that now :P
  7. Hey, I was raised in Cyprus, got a pad there that can house a couple of RollaClubbers.. Someone willing to join me for a little border walk? :)
  8. 7x15 ET35, needs spacing but I kinda like the look.. :) I need tires, but my Cressida driver won't start now and the exhaust on my Mk3 Golf 'show car' just tore off down the highway, so I guess a test fit is all you will see right now.. I have too many cars :P Could work yeah?
  9. It wasn't thieves, it was the style police :)
  10. Usually when I'm in my workshop I do work on my Golf Mk3, paint and body work. I do get sidetracked from time to time though, especially waiting for primer or filler to dry. Then I do the occasional work to my KE.. I've started a wire tuck I've been wanting to do for ages. Battery moved to the boot, fuel filter removed, coil turned upside down and relocated to fuel filter placement. Coil wires will be hidden inside the chassis leg. I'm actually wondering if this is standard placement on some cars because it fits amazingly like a glove. Headlight washer tank removed, and you'd be looking at a radiator with a built-in expansion tank or a small, chromed expansion tank placed somewhere more out of sight than the original unit. The plan is to create a wire tuck with the white car I'm working on here, and use it in the future for my beige project that someday will be done :rolls: Car fires right up. On a final product the battery cable will together with fuse box etc be hidden, battery tray and all brackets removed etc. Or maybe just ditch the fuzzy 4K for a cleaner looking 4A-GE altogether.. :laff:
  11. So I was up in the workshop yesterday, dismantled the front end and started painting the bay primer red.. What do you guys think, an '82 Toyota hot rod.. Can it be cool? Stay tuned for pics..
  12. Rolla people seem to be a little broke when finding cars :P A quad light E7 on wide 14s always look dope low.. I do prefer static drops myself, although I know K-Sport makes a bag setup for the AE86 and that tickles my fancy a little.
  13. So I was up in my garage/workshop doing some work to my Mk3 Golf. Started up the Rolla and figured why the hell not, it was a damn nice day.. And yes, it drives worse than it looks.. Quite an achievement really :laff:
