Anyone know what the red and green wires are for that come off the dizzy? I wanna convert my 4-AC to eletronic ignition. I'm sick of contact points.

the reluctor sensor? last 4a-c i played around with had electronic dizzy already

Ya, mine doesnt, but i wanna mod it to fit. Would be nice to have no points to root around with.

Just checked mine - the plug on the end of the red and green wires is the same config as the plug on the coil (not sure if they are related)

 

also here is a pic showing where the little guys go

if you unscrew that cover you'll find what looks like a chip, thats the module and those wirings come from the pick up inside the dissy, what the chip does is Amplify the signal from the pick up.

Yup, thats cool. I just needed to know where the wires run to after the come outta the dizzy there. I'm guessing positive is red, negative is green and they go to the coil?

With more help from TRD ke70, i have successfully wired up the electronic dizzy into the KE55. works a treat. thanks again!!

can i ask were you got yours from i was quoted $270 to get the parts

 

i was thinking going down to u pull it

I got mine from u-pull-it, cept the dizzy advance didnt work on it. gotta go back and get another one.
