I had a brief look at the brackets, and without measuring everything, it looks like it wouldn't be hard to get to bolt up. The problems I can see are that the bracket may be too thick, and that the discs are 5 stud, so you'd have to get them redrilled to 4 stud. No, I'm not talking about swapping the entire Falcon diff. I'm talking about putting Falcon brakes on some other diff like a Celica diff or T18 diff or something. Posted July 19, 2005 Report Share Posted July 19, 2005 i have seen many conversions of falcon brakes onto alot of different cars. the main advantage is that the handbrake works off the calipers rather than an inner drum. the conversion often involves machining though. I've got Bluebird TRX discs on the back of my car, and they aren't really ideal for 2 reasons - alloy caliper bracket, and internal drum handbrake. Posted July 19, 2005 Report Share Posted July 19, 2005 i have a strong diff for sale if anyone is intersted. it is a mazda b1800 diff with falcon ea brakes to suit a ke30 55 . it has been 4 studded ect. bolt in. except for tailshaft.
