Panel Van To Coupe Doors

hi just wondering how easy is it to convert panel van doors to pillarless coupe doors they bolt on there but you can't close the door because of the frame and wondering is it easy to remove the window frame on the panelvan doors so they will fit as every thing is the same as coupe not sure about the window glass though cheers for any help

I'm pretty sure its not possible. For starters the opening for the glass isn't big enough. The rubbers are all wrong. Don't know if the door trims match up. And the glass is the wrong shape.

Door length would be correct.

 

Window shape is definately different due to the windscreen angle and the roofline being a different shape.

 

I reckon it could be achieved as long as the glass was changed, maybe the window regulator as well (pending if there is a difference or not).

 

I say give it a shot and let us know how you go as this would make it a cheap and affordable option for those people who need to sort out a new door for their coupe or panel van.

Window reg and slides will DEFINATLY need to be changed. The panelvan doors wouldnt have the supports to hold the window when all the way up.

yeah will have a go picked up sum rough panelvan doors cheap so i could see if they will fit and they do its just the window frame that gets in the way will post more info on how i go with them

yeah will be canabilising the window runners out of the rusted and rooted coupe doors

hey all can some one do sum measurments of the hardtop windows including the angle at the front so i can compare them with the panelvan doors as i don't have any front windows for my hardtop cheers for the help
