Window Seals Bad Need To Find Replacements

Hi all!

 

I have bad seals and rubber on my windshield , rear window. My front windshield is cracked and needs replacement also.

 

I live in washington state and I know some of these parts aren't even manufactured anymore.

 

Does anyone know someone or a business that can fabricate new seals or rubbers? Any recommendations for aftermarket replacements would be fantastic.

 

My baby is a little ke30 2d sedan.

There's some trunk, door and F&R windscreen seals in that lot buddy.

Problem is those ones are coming from Thailand and keep getting a bad review here.

Thanks Silverra! I emailed Scott through the weblink above. So I have 2 fail points, the seals and the moulding are bad. www.toyodiy.com lists the moulding parts. I went to a local toyota dealership and they said that these parts aren't manufactured anymore and that it would be impossible to source. The parts guy didn't seem very interested to offer any assistance so I'm not sure if he was just being lazy and blowing smoke or if he was being serious.

 

Any thoughts on where I could locate new or aftermarket moulding ? These are the parts for OEM below;

What do you mean by moulding? The chrome strip that runs through the centre of the rubber and acts as the locking strip?

 

If that is what you mean, Scott's sells that too.

 

Not sure if they sell the corners as well, you might have to use what you have.
