mikeys toy[RL]
will a 4ac bolt up to the 2tc bellhousing? i am asking 'cause i just found a super clean '86 mitsubishi p/u with a blown rod. i have that '78 te38 t40 and access to a fwd 4ac, i was thinking about putting the 4ac/t40 combo into the truck as mitsubishi products are scarce and junk. i also have a complete '81 sunny a15 drivetrain.... if i am successful, bubba will be sold

Super Jamie
there does exist a bellhousing to go from late model (ae71/ae86) t50 to 4age, so if 4age and 4ac have the bolt pattern, then look for that and you can't use that bellhousing on an early model (ta22/te27) t50 gearbox
