emu Posted June 20, 2010 Author Report Posted June 20, 2010 Pitty I have the prior week booked off for work holidays. Gimme a months notice next time and I'd happily jump at it ;) You can google Mt Ive Station yourself.......it's approx 100km west of Iron Knob Logistically , we can only cater for approx 20 Corollas each year , and last year entrants get 1st preference, but if we need cars next year I'l let you know cheers pete Quote
philbey Posted June 20, 2010 Report Posted June 20, 2010 So is it a competitive rally? Or just flexing from a to b? Quote

emu Posted June 20, 2010 Author Report Posted June 20, 2010 (edited) I was more talking about riding shotgun, but ok ;) ok..........I've just left the rally social bbq , and there is one cancellation of a corolla entry, so you can enter a car, or just enter as a passenger/co-driver. the beauty of this event is that, whilst it's challenging, you also have full mechanical/retrieval backup..........ie no matter what happens to your car, they get you home again. This is not a full on rally , it's a social event, ......that you can get into as hard ,....or as soft as you like, and you've always got a 4wd to get you out of any shit you may get into. and if you need a car , i have a spare car , a ke50 in good nick ,advertised for sale in the forum here I'm also told today that the daily runs are not that hard.........the hardest bit is the last day , from which you can detour if you wish, and travel home on the bitumen Call me if you're interested Cheers pete 0413 133233 Edited June 20, 2010 by emu Quote
