cruzer Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Well ive had this account for a bit but never really used it well this is what my car use to look like It only cost me $200 when i bought it and the use of it was gonna be spare parts for my dads and i track car (sportsback ae82) but when i got my L's decided to start fixing her up. First thing i done was pulled the car from the back of the yard and cleaned all the dust and dirt out of the engine bay Then after all that was cleaned i stuck on some panels and bars i had lying around. And like every Ae82 the seats were ruined so I pulled all of the material off and stuck it in the washing machine :) it came out like new After a few weeks of work i gto a call from my uncle telling me that he had a corolla for me and that i could go strip it so i went and got all my parts :) Dad and uncle stripping car And i took my rims with me Because my uncle said he would clean them up and paint them for me ill update with more later on Sean Quote
Trev Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Good project, Try to replace the seat brace with passenger seat one's, they generally have less use and are in better condition. Quote
cruzer Posted July 1, 2010 Author Report Posted July 1, 2010 Good project, Try to replace the seat brace with passenger seat one's, they generally have less use and are in better condition. yeh man i took care of all of that anyways i might as well post some more pics So when i got all the parts home the next day i started fitting the new front (old one was all bent) and i liked the small blinkers better Also in this pic you can see that i removed the strips on the side as they just looked out of place A few weeks later i received a call from my uncle telling me that my rims are done and that i should take the car up so he can get it prepped and ready for paint. so we put the corolla up on the back of dads truck and took it to tuggerah and on arrival i got my rims oh yeh and a photo of my engine Sean Quote

seabiscuit Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 (edited) you can't really see it in the pictures but there is a red stripe breaking up the black and white :hmm: Go panda style, like the AE86's! I think it would look really good, actually. I have a soft spot the the AE82 Twin-Cam's! Quite a classic hot hatch and sometimes look really good, like yours :blinks: But you need to get a new Twin-Cam front! :blinks: Edited July 5, 2010 by seabiscuit Quote

cruzer Posted July 10, 2010 Author Report Posted July 10, 2010 (edited) Some more pics: Replaced the rear window regulator as it snapped D: so as i removed the door trim and started work i was faced with this bar of rust yay rust. This bar goes between the main window and like the little triangle windo in the rear. Edited July 10, 2010 by cruzer Quote
