Get Static On Radio When Applying Brakes, Windscreen Wiper Etc

I have a problem i get static on my radio whenever applying brakes and when i turn the windscreen wiper on, the brake is hooked up with the parkers as well as the brake lights but that shouldnt effect it, maybe a unsheathed antenna wire?

Brakes and park lights are common because you have put one of the bulbs in back to front..

Static would most likely be the supressor on the alternator..

unscrew the antanna from the body check the screws for rust. clean or replace up u you.

or alternitively you can buy a small device that wires into the head units wiring i think its called a noise supressor. :P

I have a similar prob i get TripleJ overrated on the Brisbane freq but static on the Sunny Coast freq. Pissing me off to no end.

 

Original poster: Check your ground or main wiring. Or it's your power source.
