irokin Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 Looking for a place in Brisbane to do it for me. don't have the time or patience to do it myself :n:. All I can find in the yellow pages are places that supply bearings... Quote
mikeys toy[RL] Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 but then you'd miss the satisfaction if YOU....... putting the huge dent in the guard and the ratchet handle through the windscreen in frustration Quote
irokin Posted September 12, 2005 Author Report Posted September 12, 2005 haha... I was hoping so much you were joking. Its the celica :n:...again I guess I'll just have to give a few random places a call. P.S. Get a job in mining :P Quote
mikeys toy[RL] Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 hey....i HAVE a job in mining......how'd you know? Quote
irokin Posted September 13, 2005 Author Report Posted September 13, 2005 Easiest axel removal EVER. Seriously took all of 3 seconds to get the axel out once the bolts were undone. Mind you it took about an hour to find an electrical problem that stopped the car from starting along with the flat battery. Goddamn cars... Quote
Super Jamie Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 Goddamn cars... goddamn nissans yes, i know it was on the celica :n: Quote
crazy_bunny Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 Sif pay someone else to do it. when u can have fun urself attempting to heat up the old bearing and not been able to get it off, resorting to a angle grinder.. cutting to far and hitting the axel... then putting the new bearing on and realising you missed the spacer. Cutting that bearing off and putting it back together properly.... or is that only me? :n: Quote
Felix Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 last set of wheel bearings i got done, i supplied my new bearings and axles to a workshop. cost $30 to get the old ones pressed off and the new ones pressed on. Quote
irokin Posted September 13, 2005 Author Report Posted September 13, 2005 All done and dusted. All up including bearings it was about $125 and 30ish minutes Quote
