SLW42 Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 wow old school :D auto......... does it skid?????????? I'd be happy with that too, does it have any rust in it at all? Or are you not game enough to search for it :bash: Quote
GJM85 Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 The right angle in the boot would have been fitted for anchor points. For child harnesses. Quote
LXY-642 Posted December 10, 2010 Author Report Posted December 10, 2010 There are a few rust spots nothing That really looks serious. Engine is leaking oil from somewhere gotta clean it to try and find it lol. And nah 1st gear on the spot will just stall up lol. Ah that's what it's for. I shoulda looked what the bolt was going to. It has got a anchor point through the parcel shelf. Good to know that I can easily add another if need be later down the track. Oh yeah not sure if I've mentioned or not yet, but the car is a 1974 model. Quote
LXY-642 Posted December 11, 2010 Author Report Posted December 11, 2010 gave the rear and the passenger side of the car a quick scrub, after i took a pic of the toyoglide badge. hose won't reach the front or drivers side :( got some carpet laid out in the garage now under the ke20. and noticed i have another badge i didn't know of pity it's only on the driver's front guard. front windscreen is still filthy from the locust's the 20 killed on the trip home lol. SLW42 Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 fack yeah it looks good when it's clean mate Quote
LXY-642 Posted December 11, 2010 Author Report Posted December 11, 2010 yeah the toyoglide is sick lol. yeah does look heaps better clean, still needs paint though a fair bit of it is cracked :( Quote
JJT036 Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 yeah the toyoglide is sick lol. Haha. It's just Awesome. The reason it's Sick is because it's 100% Based on GM's Powerglide. It wass just made to suit Toyota K and T Series Engines and Trans Tunnels using whatever name Toyota could come up with, which resulted with the Toyoglide. :) Josh  Quote
LXY-642 Posted December 11, 2010 Author Report Posted December 11, 2010 (edited) pity powerglide bits don't fit straight inside though :( someone link to info on the toyoglide and powerglide relations? :) is anything interchangeable between the to? Edited December 11, 2010 by wpn36 Quote

Yeah. If the Powerglide bits fitted inside the Toyo's, I would've already converted my P/Van to Auto. :) You can find this info on Wikipedia. :D I just looked at your eBay ad for your SR20 Ke36, and I'm just curious where your Front Seats came out of? Josh  Edited December 11, 2010 by ewt Quote
LXY-642 Posted December 11, 2010 Author Report Posted December 11, 2010 as far as i know they are ke70 front seats ;) all i could find was that it was based off a powerglide. if the bellhousing's are interchangeable that would be awesome :) Quote
Ben-89 Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Nice pick up Matt, very original indeed  Are you keeping the original plates on the car? Would be nice if you did, not many around any more. Thats how I worked the year of it but you mentioned it before hand. Look after her  Quote
LXY-642 Posted December 11, 2010 Author Report Posted December 11, 2010 Thanks mate. Yeah the couple I got it off thought it also had the o.g tool kit, but found it was actually missing. Want to see if I can get the plates renewed in the white on black. Leave the 12" wheels on it if it'll manage to get traction with the 5kt when that goes in. But yeah last thing I wanna do is ruin it. Quote
