Hey guys, as some of you may already know I'm hoping to go camping for my birthday. I'm hoping to leave Wed 26th January (Australia Day) and return Sunday 30th January.

If you can't come down for the whole duration its okay, you can just do the Friday night and Saturday night, or just the Saturday night.

I would be great to have you all there but understand if you can't.

Here are the rates... (Prices are for 2 Adults, extra adults are $20/night, Children $10/night)

First Sun Holiday Park.

...........................Wed...Thurs....Fri...Sat

....Powered Site...$56....$40......$40...$40 = $176

Unpowered Site...$50....$38......$38...$38 = $164

I'd really like to get a block of 4 [+] sites next to each other (Powered) that way we can fit as many people as we can. This way we don't have to worry if we go over any boundary lines. I'll try to see how many people we can get on per site. Cause the more we fit (Comfortably) the lesser it'll cost. Tho if you want to be further away you can, as there will be many late nights :)

The park is also at the town centre. So it'll be walking distance for food (as I'm not pre buying anything), clubs too if anyone is keen and is on the beach too. I am planning on bringing a bar fridge down in the trailer so we can keep the essentials cold, like butter, milk, bacon etc.

Any Questions let me know, I hope I've included everything. I'm hoping to call them this week and start booking and paying deposits.

thanks,

J.

Oh also forgot to say that I'll try to see how many people we can get on per site. Cause the more we fit (Comfortably) the lesser it'll cost.

EDIT!!

NEW Venue

Okay guys with lots of calling around I have found this to be the best place. There is no minimum stay like all the other parks. Its not on the beach or in the centre of town but is only 2km away. It is a site that specialises in tent camping and campervans etc. They have lots of space and claim that they don't book out. So hoping that they do have lots of space we should be able to pitch tents away from everyone else.

....Powered Site...$17....$17......$17...$17 = $68

Unpowered Site...$15....$15......$15...$15 = $60

Cancelled thanks to work. They don't want to give me the time off after they had approved it in the first place. :(

Well I would like to test out the trailer so I'd be more for the camp myself. Would need to be near water.

Be quick because that is anywhere in QLD right now.

Just thinking what if I made it in February? And try to get one day off, say on a Friday. That way we could have Friday, Saturday and Sunday? Not sure on everyone else tho and I don't want to be doing it alone lOl
