So the in-laws in Japan have bought a new car. The father in law is a Toyota man. Back in the 70's he had a Mitsubishi Colt (saw pics, real old skool JDM beast) Water pump went and blew the engine. So from then on, a Toyota only man.

 

He had a Toyota Ipsom for about 10 years. The Shaken (yearly RWC checks that get more expensive with age) was getting too expensive. It was cheaper to buy a new car. So he bought a Ractis.

Basically a Yaris with a mini van body.

 

But because he is a petrol head he bought the big block 1.5!, not the 1.3!

 

So on my next visit, I know what I'll be driving!
