Hey just scored a fuel/boot release setup for my 70.

I'm pretty confident about setting it up.

Could someone with the same setup post up a few pics of how they are mounted?

Especially the fuel one.

Confident..... but a few pics never hurt.

Also a measurement from the edge of the body to the centre of the fuel release mech hole would be awesome. don't want the fuel cap sticking out or in.

Cheers as always! :y:

dude the fuel release cable goes into the side were the stopper is, you just have to take out the stopper now and drill a hole into the side, were the stopper used to be  if that makes sence

and the boot realese cable is just as easy it runs along the D/S same as the fuel door realease cable and then up the right side of the boot and into the lock

pics to follow gimme a minute or two

What I figured. I just don't wanna drill the hole wrong.

No harm in getting it right first time!

And the boot release runs to the lid! Never would of guessed that!

yeah man up the swing arm on the right hand side, then along the boot, hence the little tab looking things, then into the boot lock,

Crazy, did any *e7* come with a keyless fuel flap? Or will I have to weld over the one I have?

They use both key and release lever man :)

Do I only need the cable to set up the fuel door release or is there more to it? Because I have the cable but I just can't see how it would work :hmm:

Maybe someone could post a picture if it isn't too much trouble
