Finally got around to taking the Mildew Stricken Boot carpet out and washing it! ripped all the old Insulation/padding crap out and replaced it with Carpet underlay which i cut out to fit, cleaned in and around the Spare Tyre well (32 years worth of dust and dirt) and then put it all back in :)

so now i have a nice clean boot! tehehe (only thing is i broke the Trim clips for the backs of the seats when i pulled it out but they can be replaced)

here's some Pics

Bought some new wheels this week (not for my car but thought i'd share...)

They are a Set of 4 Chevoit Turbo Wheels in 13x6JJ 4x110 - 0 Offset (Pics Below)

basically me and some mates from another Club are Building a Sound car from an '83 G11 Charade.

i saw these wheels and knowing we needed some thought why not get them.

so Thanks to Andrew from Southside suspension & Mechanical for the wheels i got a Great price (i think so anyway)

so far i have De-greased the wheels and hit them with the Gurnie to get rid of flaked old paint and dirt etc

and i have Test coated one of them in Satin Black Heavy Duty Outdoor Paint. Plans are to Polish off the Writing and Lip etc to get the Polished Silver/Black look thats kinda "in" at the moment

but here's the progress so far.

they shouldn't be too bad, but will not sit flush not with that offset... but you could get a new outer make up to fill those guards and have hellaflush wheels!

yea i tried them on today, the offset was different to what i was previously informed, 2 of them are +32 and the other 2 are +20, which if i was to flip would need the guards rolled and flared... big time haha, but i love the look and i'm getting them from a mate for a great price for all four and 2 with half decent tyres. should be mine in the next 2 weeks, then i will polish up all the outer rims and repaint the centre's Gold :)

No Dish :(

FLIP THEM!

the two that are on the car will stay as they are for the moment... but the other 2 are yet to be painted and polished and i will test flip one of them and see how well it fits the car they are probably a better option to flip becaise of the lower offset

Swapped the Meshie's onto the front which is kool, give me a much bigger track (wider tyres plus 10mm spacers) but only thing now is that its very obvious my Control Arm Bushes need replacing :bash:

steering is all over the place sometimes.

I also got an almost full roll of 35% Window tint that my housemate didn't need anymore so ill be putting that on the side windows soon :)
