SLW42 Posted May 11, 2012 Author Report Posted May 11, 2012 Timing is now sorted and runs better than ever, I've yet to drive it because I have no licence and the cars outta rego atm but life goes on..... I am in the process of painting bits of the body to the factory white, like the black bits in the front and rear bars, the left and right rearview mirrors will be done aswell as the rocker cover, although it is going vht black so hopefully it all looks good when its done :D Also ordered a 30mm swaybar on Wednesday and it should be here early next week, so that should stiffen the front up a fair bit which is what I want Quote
SLW42 Posted May 11, 2012 Author Report Posted May 11, 2012 Rocker cover ended up VHT flat black (yeah it was inevitable!!!!) Mirrors went back to factory white.... Start Primed Painted So much happiness right now Quote
SLW42 Posted May 13, 2012 Author Report Posted May 13, 2012 Mirror painted cleared and bolted back onto the car :D what do you reckon guys and girls? Quote

kickn5k Posted May 25, 2012 Report Posted May 25, 2012 If it's a Ford "control blade" rear end, it should be a great improvement in handling. :) How hard is it to fit???? Quote
SLW42 Posted May 26, 2012 Author Report Posted May 26, 2012 If by 'control blade' I.E commodore style or ba - fg IRS, nah au IRS is completly different and a WAAAAAYYYYYY better design Au IRS http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c354/bullyhotrod86jh/Picture003.jpg http://www.trueblueford.com/images/AU1xrIRS.jpg Ba IRS http://www.trueblueford.com/images/BA_IRS4_lrg45.jpg ^^^^ terrible design, like a commodore... I needed to almost completely delete the watts link setup in the rear of the falcon so that the top arms sit up under the chassis rails, so I need to box up the watts link remaining that I have cut out to put more strength back into it and hopefully get it passed engineers!!!
