fix: buy a good ta22 shell and change over all the good bits

dudes, if i found another 16 or 18 in that condition, i would SO rebuild it

daisy was almost that bad, ex. the rust part

except the rust part. look at it, the rails are f@$ked, the floor is f@$ked, it has NO strength, it's going to tear in half!

 

and osix just doesn't understand that, he's more worried about a 2 pak paintjob and getting some indicators shipped over from australia

or using that orange te21 with the fibreglass guards, it's even closer to him!

TA22s aren't rare over here. you'd pick up a overrated one for like $1500, you could pick up a registerable shitter for a few hundred. they're like, one step above old corollas

er, have any of you read the actual thread lately?

 

have you seen the repair work he's had done? the entire floor and sills have been rebuilt out of 1.6mm sheet, and it is tidy work. he's floored just about everyone on toymods with his persistance and this call WILL be saved, and probably become very tidy in quite a short amount of time

 

we're whingeing about carbs and windscreen plenums, this guy has to rebuild from the floor up. we go to the local wreckers, osix is travelling between COUNTRIES to find parts. give him some credit

As you said very first reply Jamie, buy a new shell and swap it all over

he lives in bumf@$k nowhere. there ARE no other shells

 

he could always import one, but it's alot of bother and he IS in the philipines, the panelbeater is probably working for 5 bucks an hour so why not fix it? :)
