You are correct in saying that the

But the reason I asked if it is a 3 (3N71B) or 4 (4N71B) speed, is that I am to believe the 3N71B is the better box and will handle more power.

Yea true the 3n will handle more my 4n is maxed out now at 350kw rating the reason I'm leaving it the 4speed is i am going power glide later on

update the fire wall and tunnel are almost done now and we modded around rocker cover to get it off and on in the car and gearbox is all mounted to now
