All u need to do regarding engine mounts is unbolt urs off 3k n put them on 4k 5k .. The only time an k engine will bolt straight in is if it come out of te same model car

So do I need to change engine mounts if I am going to a 4k or 5k from my 3k?

 

Hey bud, a hiace 5k will go straight back in there. It's kinda hard to lay it all out for you in one long sentence. I'd even consider rebuilding the 3k and making a screamer of a donk. 8 grand redline.... oh yeah!

 

I put a 5k into my ke20. The conversion is simple, keep all your 3k gear handy. You'll need to swap thermostat housing, water pump, sump, flywheel and lose all the pollution gear and use the 3k intake getup!

3/4/5k motors are basically the same block, so you can use the 3k ones if there available.

Ok coz it already has a 3k in it so I can use the original mounts.

Hey I'm new and have 2 questions, I want to put a beams into my Ke30 4dr sedan but have no idea and want it done right so I was wondering if anyone knows a shop in western Sydney that would do this and preferably a shop that has done something similar. Second part is approx how much will I be up for considering I can't really do any work myself? Any help would be great
