  1. Hey guys, I have got rid of pretty much all of my old Corolla stuff and the final item is a Toyota Corolla 1200 workshop manual from Gregory's. I have had this manual for a number of years as I used to own a Ke20, Ke25 and a Ke26. These are great to have on hand to maintain your old 'Rolla but sadly I don't own one anymore so it is time for this to go to someone who can use it. Hopefully someone wants this, otherwise it will end up in recycling. This is an eighteenth reprint edition from 1994. It does have signs of age and use but still in good condition. Happy for someone to have it for free, just cover the cost of postage, which is about $10 for the eastern states or a little more for SA, NT and WA. ENDED UP IN RECYCING. Cheers, Mick
  2. Hi guys. Just clearing out the garage and found these random pieces. 2 x 3" to 3" intercooler piping adapter. Old packaging, but look to be in good condition. Black in colour. $10 for both plus postage 4 x wheel stud M12 x 1.50. Brand new and I am pretty sure my brother was going to use them for his AE86 Sprinter or Ke30 Corolla. But not entirely sure, basically I can't remember and he lives in Dubai, so no idea. Specs are on page 12/13 here - http://www.niceproducts.com.au/catalogues/wheel/wheel.php $10 for all 4 plus postage. Pictures here: http://s1188.photobucket.com/user/Megz_w/library/Parts PM me if interested Cheers Mick

PM me if you are interested. http://nolathane.com...251&media=print Cheers Mick
  4. Nice to hear it will keep the factory look with period correct wheels.Definitely not many factory look Ke/Te's around anymore unfortunately. Good luck with the build.
  5. That's good to hear. Definitely makes the value go up, not just monetary but sentimental as well knowing the effort to source all the parts. Are you going to add the 'race' ductail and front fender? Or purely keeping it a factory look? Also, are you planning on running the original wheels? I looked over the rest of this thread but I couldn't see any mention about the wheels; original or aftermarket.
  6. It could be worth it depending on how much time, money and skills you have, but for most people it would not be worth it unless you have a mass collection of genuine TE27 gear, which you seem to have. Interesting question, do you have all original trimmings and bits to go in the '27? Or have you had to be reproduction parts on bits you couldn't find? Nonetheless, will be good to see how it progresses. I imagine time is the toughest thing to find at the moment?
  7. Definitely looks like a viable option, considering you have a lot of the other parts! The other one of Yahoo Auctions does appear to be quite similar to your shell (actually I thought it was the same photo you originally put up) but there does appear to be quite a bit of rust in the other shell. Mick.
  8. Ok cool, glad to hear it worked out well. Keen to see some pics when you get a spare moment. Cheers, Mick
  9. Hi Parrot, How did the shell end up turning out? Haven't seen any updates in quite a while. Cheers, Mick.
  10. Hi guys, Well my brother tried to sell his car before he moved overseas permanently, but time is now nearly all but run out (leaves in a weeks' time) and he is so busy organising the big move, so I am selling his car for him. This is an amazingly clean V35 300GT Skyline and has been kept in the garage since he bought it at the beginning of the year (Jan 2012). Judging by what is for sale on Carsales, eBay and Skyline forums, this has to be one of the best value for money V35 Skyline sedan's available in Australia right now. It was serviced in July which inc. general servicing plus new fan belts. Rego is until 11th January, 2013. I am happy to help with interstate transport (at buyers' additional expense), transport costs are pretty reasonable to all states and if someone in WA is keen, to give you an idea of price, the last time I had a car freighted over (in August) it was about the $1000 mark and took approx. 7 working days. Please contact me if you have any questions via PM. This is a great car for P platers, auto-only drivers who want a bit of power or just perfect for someone looking for a nice comfy daily with plenty of poke. Features 2002 Nissan Skyline V35 300GT sedan 3.0 litre V6 (191kw ) iPhone/iPod connectivity (professionally installed by Cronulla Car Sound) Dual climate air conditioning Automatic with tip-tronic Power windows, mirrors and front seats (adjustable rear seats) Bose factory 7 speaker stereo 6 disc stacker FM radio band expanded Xenon headlights Factory floor mats Central locking P-plate legal Limited warranty valid until January 2015 (please PM to discuss) 48,800k's (approx) Overall the condition of paint and interior is great. My brother had an authorised MTA check (I think MTA, could have been NRMA) before he bought the car to make sure it was all good. (The report is available for those who are interested.) The two things that were picked up on the report were the brake rotors had a bit of shudder and tyres were on the wear markers. The dealer put on brand new tyres and had the brake discs machined before it was sold, so any NRMA or MTA check should come up all clear. Price - $10,000ono. If genuinely interested please feel free to call to discuss price. Any low-ballers offering $6k because that's all you have, please don't bother asking if I'll take it because you won't even be recognised. Location - Sutherland Shire, Sydney Contact - PM or if you call before 24th October, please contact zero 4 one 2 677 97 six or zero 42 one 443 7 double zero to discuss. After the 24th Oct please only call zero 42 one 443 7 double zero. More photos can be found here - http://s1188.photobucket.com/albums/z409/Megz_w/V35%20300GT%20Skyline/ I have tried to be as honest as possible so if you are genuinely interested please call to discuss. Thanks. Cheers Mick
  11. Now on eBay: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/110931168253?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649#ht_979wt_1396 Cheers Mick
  12. Still for sale and price lowered. EDIT - Just did an oil and filter change. Definitely didn't need it but it was over 3 months since I last did it and thought I may as well. Cheers, Mick
  13. Hi guys, Well I have owned this car for over 1 year now and I have bought a motorbike, so there is no need for this any more. It has been a great car over the past year, only have driven it on Saturday's and Sunday's as I work in the city and no need for a car in the weekdays. Saying that I probably have only done about 10,000k's all up since I have owned it. Specs: Model - 1994 Toyota Corolla AE96 Ultima Colour - Standard Toyota bluey green Condition - A couple of scratches and marks as expected, but the body has no rust and is quite clean. Clear coat is pealing off the rear spoiler, but nothing too bad. KM's - Cluster = 214,xxx, original cluster had 223,xxx which was taken out at the beginning of the year as it has some stickers and crappy blue led lights in it that I didn't like. So a standard SX cluster was put in. Engine - 4age 20v BT in good condition w/TRD HT leads, blows a tiny bit of smoke (black) at the top of the rev range (engine has about 150,000k's or so as I was told by previous owner) Transmission - C160 6 speed manual w/TRD flywheel Exhaust - 2" system, with standard 20v headers. Not too loud, quite reasonable. Suspension - A bit lower and stiffer than standard but good for everyday driving. Brakes - Discs all round as standard, with fronts upgraded to AE101/AE111(?) twinpot callipers and 258mm vented and slotted discs. Wheels - 15" x 7" wheels (front tyres are Bridgestone Potenzas RE002 and 1 year old, rear tyres have plenty of tread but not a known brand) Interior - Standard with sports steering wheel. A few marks and what not, but generally pretty tidy. Sound - CD player with AUX cable, 6x9's in rear and 4's in front Rego - Due 17th September 2012. Other - Pretty standard and clean. Doesn't stand out and is a reliable car with plenty of poke, will be a great daily for someone. The 20v BT sounds amazing and you really appreciate the quality of Toyota engines. Also has immobiliser and central locking. During the year I have owned it the following has been done: Serviced at every 3 months - Due to the lack of K's being done, I didn't wait for the 5000k mark to change the oil. All 4 CV boots were replaced - One had a small tear so I had all of them replaced. I was told the CV joints are in good condition by the mechanic. Front Ball joints replaced Gearbox oil replaced when CV boots were done. Spark Plugs replaced - genuine Toyota plugs were put in (Toyota P/N - PK20R11). Front Brake pads and brake and clutch fluid changed back in March. Front tyres were replaced - I put on the Bridgestone's as above. (wheel alignment also done at this time) Indicator/wiper mechanism replaced - worn High Beam switch, so didn't work properly. Dash cluster replaced and upgraded to SX cluster - as per above Seats replaced with the same originals - originals were worn and springs were gone. Plastic trims replaced on A and B pillar due to sun damage. Only minor things are: Idles a bit higher sometimes (1,500 revs) but settles down after a while. Quite normal for a 20v. Drivers side central locking is a bit sticky, but immobiliser works fine. Clear coat on rear spoiler as mentioned above. I think that is about it. I have tried to be as honest as possible with the description, so if you have any questions please feel free to ask. I hardly drive it and generally it is to the shops and back. So no need to have it sitting around collecting dust. Photos: More photos here: AE96 Ultima RV 4age 20v BT pictures by Megz_w - Photobucket Location - Sutherland Shire, Sydney Price - $3,300 obo. 14. Hi guys, I am after an AE9X sx dash cluster (the type that has the extra oil pressure/voltage/etc gauges), complete and good condition with preferably kms under 220,000. Mine has some really horrendous white stickers and I would really like to make mine as standard as possible. I am located in Sydney and will organise pickup if in Sydney area or can pay for postage. PM me if you have anything, Cheers Mick.
  15. Yeah there are some OK photos. I didn't go mental taking heaps of photos, but just took some nice ones. Cheers Mick

  17. Yeah I ended up going with my Dad, I have a few photo's of the Toyota's (mainly the AE86's). Will put them up when I get a chance. Good day and perfect weather. A bit disappointed that the Toyota's and that class couldn't really open it up and just did demo laps. Cheers Mick
