You can use an AE86 engine crossmember (at least we have put mine into my KE70 in preparation for dropping in the engine). Though if you use AE86 struts you will have to ensure you use the KE70 camber tops (to avoid terrible castor). Depending on the model of 4A you decide on more modification may be required. For example, with the 20v you need to do something about the distributor (as when the motor is turned it intersects with the firewall), to solve this you can either cut the firewall (bad idea), relocate the dizzy or use a coilpack and aftermarket ECU (the usual approach). I don't know what the issues are though when using the 16vs.

Just done this on mine.

1. ae71 engine and g/box xmembers

2. ae71 hydraulic clutch setup

3. cut off water pipes just off w/pump as in guides on website somewhere.

4. mounted intank efi pump onto end of pickup in tank.

5. wiring up wasn't too bad. theres probably guides on web. think mine was from club4age.

6. t50 g/box with modded t/shaft,standard diff ok.

7. exhaust. extractors preferable.

have fun,much better than 4k.

Recommend you read the FAQ in full and not just take the easy way out and expect somebody to provide a short list and expect this to cover off all your requirements.

Some things missing from the above list ( and I know it wasn't intended to be a complete list), that come to mind are:

- return fuel line for EFI system

- either a RWD throttle manifold or cut n shut fwd one

- some form of fuel cut system now that your running EFI.

etc.

Better to be informed properly before undertaking the job.
