4Age Engines

hey guys, hope i don't get flamed for this, because i did try to search this but didnt really find anything that could tell me.

But anyway, i just want to find out the differences between all the 4 age engines? like between 16v and 20 v and big port and small port? and which ones will be better to turbo later on? or will supercharging one be better/more cost effective? Will be for a ke70 and i know it all depends on money but what sort of power can these engines make?

Cheers in advance for the help!

If it hasn't been done on club4ag, then its a good chance it can't be done....

From memory the guys on there recommended the big port head as the choice of the two 16v heads for forced induction. Whereas for NA its the small port to keep the intake velocity up.

Forced induction just comes down to what you want from the motor, a good top end performance, which a turbo will give or the performance punch off the line from a supercharger. But in saying that depending on how much money you throw at it a turbo can give good punch off the line and nothing at the top and a supercharger can do the top end performance while giving nothing at the bottom.

But all in all for me i would sooner a supercharger cause legally on the street in town your limited to 60 so whats the point of going faster.
