Either a fuse (unlikely if everything else is ok) a loose connection, or your sender unit in the tank is faulty (most likely).

My sender unit is on the way out and reads strange levels but I go off my trip meter and the fuel light still works.

Mine had corrosion on the terminals and was doing all funny stuff, just cleaned up the connections and all good!

Probably not a problem, but the tank on mine (ke70 should be the same) the first half goes quickly then last half lasts ages, just the design on the tank that causes that.

Usual story is... find the wire on the tank & pull off, turn on key, check for 12volts at the end of the wire.

If no power, check the gauge end.

If there is 12V there, short it out to earth. Gauge should go to full.

If gauge doesn't move then problem is in the gauge. Pull dash apart and check gauge contacts etc.
