I'm from washington state and have had my 82 2 door sedan for a little bit now but i am just getting into building it. i have so far dual side draft 40mm mikunis, header, 2inch exhaust (side exit), and a few suspension bits done to get it ready for dirt track/rally. my question is will a T50 short shifter work in the T40? if not is there a T40 short shifter out there? I'm not looking to chop off the shifter I'm looking for an actual short shifter so that i can raise the knob closer to the steering wheel and not feel like i am shifting a tractor (well any more so than it already does).
