lil___ALexsRolla Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 (edited) Hey is there any one out there who's done a AE-82 to 4A-GE conversion on a Corolla 87 Hatch? If so how hard is it? And does anyone have any info? Edited December 6, 2005 by Tiger

lil___ALexsRolla Posted December 6, 2005 Author Report Posted December 6, 2005 Welcome to Rollaclub Please don't abbreviate your words, it makes you look stupid. AE82 came as a twincam (4AGE) so uhmm... yes lots of people have factory 4AGE AE82's.... Hey yes I know, but I have a ae-82 Carby engine and I'm wanting to dump a 4a-ge fuel injected engine in to it instead. So if any info plz help
Jason Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 then you could just swap all the efi stuff over from the other model.

Tiger Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 (edited) We aren't being rude dude... BUT we do need to see things on your level here. If you want tech talk on changeover parts? Ask us If you want to talk about completely DIFFERENT engine swaps... ask... We aren't pricks.. trust me. This is nothing! We are a sarcastic bunch.. but you know when we get serious... believe me :D Edited December 6, 2005 by Tiger
Jason Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 Its not really being that rude, just a reality chek, its pretty basic. It probly work out cheaper if you buy a 82 with a 4age already?
Super Jamie Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 welcome to rollaclub we appreciate a bit of initiative around here. asking "how hard" a factory-available conversion is, without any indication of your prior knowledge or experience or even searching yourself is likely to be met with responses like these have a look around the internet first and come back to us if you like, i'd suggest finding out the differences between your carby car and an efi car, finding out where you can get the components from (such as the wreckers or people on forums who sell parts) and how much they cost, the rest is usually just bolts and hose clamps and wires all this info is out there. we'll help, but we're not going to spoonfeed you and hold your hand every step of the way
