cheese hole Posted December 12, 2005 Author Report Posted December 12, 2005 My opinion is... 1. Clean the car up 2. Get suspension in it and get very used to the way it handles until you are happy with that 3. Start planning your conversion and BRAKES This means talking to engineers, fabricators and your local transport authority FIRST. :) The brakes are 4 wheel discs! I lock em up by accident sometimes lol (yeah i'm stupid) Quote
Teddy Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 Ok, Few things about the 3SFE RWD setup. There was 1 vehicle, in australia, from new, that came out with a genuine 3sfe, RWD setup. It was in a van.. i can't remeber what is called (had some in at work) - They use a W Box, looks like a similar design diff from an early tarago or hilux. 2S Manual Boxes in coronas are actually quite strong, for what they are; despite what is said, and or floating around the interent. Ive got some data at work to back that up, but i cbf trying to remember it or type it. hmmm, wheres that toyota mag i was reading... Quote

(has hand up) i know the one. you're right teddy it is a van and it's a spaica, yes a townace, same as the 7k powered ones. they also came out with a 3sfe in them. i think the coding is SR50G i think i have a engine at work from one. but they are RWD with a W series box.
