James Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 (edited) INGREDIENTS: pezo buzzer dc multimetre wire soldering iorn and solder glue find a wire on the ignition switch that goes to accesorys like clocks, raidos and stuff ( must not be on the batery side of the switch) the reason behind this is you need a wire that will be positive when the car is on, and can leak power when the car is off thus creating a negitive. now you must find a positive on the light system, best to be on the far sid of the realay more juice there ( I could not get enough power from the light switch) so when you have your Ignition on and your lights on you have two positives...no buzz when you have your lights on and your Ignition off you have a positive and a negitive, thus creating a circut....BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ now glue the pezo some where under the dash so it does not swing around HAPPY BATTERYS ps use your parkers to make the pezo work. otherwise you may still get a flat battery if you only hook up to the head lights Edited December 13, 2005 by James Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 I find it easier to just turn my lights off :) Just kidding, that's not a bad idea. I think all cars should have always come standard so that when you turn the key off, the lights turn off. Maybe give them power when the accesories is on, like the stereo. Quote
James Posted December 12, 2005 Author Report Posted December 12, 2005 since I installed the pezo, my battery has only gone flat once due to working on my Camry at night. good thing its a manul just rolled it down the drive way...vrrom Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 My battery has gone flat at the moment due to my poor baby being head f@$ked and not run in months :) Quote

James Posted December 13, 2005 Author Report Posted December 13, 2005 (edited) After I install it Nick, as I metiond before the only reason I have had a flat battery is becaus I was not carfull when I was using the rolla as a light source while working on my camry (using high beam).. It really works a treat, unles u r deaf, then you may have issues. Edited December 13, 2005 by James Quote
Clown Posted December 13, 2005 Report Posted December 13, 2005 I'm lucky with the mr2 and the liberty, might look at one for the corolla thought. The mr2 well pop-up lights, the liberty's auto off with accessory's off. Quote
Super Jamie Posted December 13, 2005 Report Posted December 13, 2005 i must say, a light buzzer is one of the most useful things in the world Quote

beerhead Posted December 24, 2005 Report Posted December 24, 2005 You can also just add anonther inline relay into the light circuit and trigger it with the accessories circuit. Auto switch off lights :hammer: Quote
Tiger Posted December 24, 2005 Report Posted December 24, 2005 (edited) You can also just add anonther inline relay into the light circuit and trigger it with the accessories circuit. Auto switch off lights :hammer: Standard on the VT Commodores. I'm installing this on mine once I pick up the relay from Holden for this :y: Edited December 24, 2005 by Tiger Quote
