Figjam14
bore out to 60th, shave head until 12:1 compression, bigger cam, extractors, weber if your allowed, port and polish head, bigger valves and springs, fully balance motor, deck block and yeaaah
altezzaclub
Before you balance it lighten the crank and knife-edge it, and I'm sure you have a lightweight flywheel for it. Â If you're not driving it on the road you'll want it as light and free-revving as possible. Â Â
Nostalgia
Awesome! What is the engine in?
drewsith
the engine is in my ke15 '68 , looking at track, hillclimb, motorkanna , and eventually targa tasmania ( this is the reason not to just chuck a bigger engine in) Edited November 3, 2011 by drewsith
Nostalgia
Targa is a dream of mine. Sounds like you already have the advice you need, but do you think a larger diameter exhaust system would be worth the money? Or just an overkill because of the small size of the engine? Maybe just sports muffler?
majordad
Have look in Forums/Motorsport, thread Historic Motor Racing Grp NCKe10. Communicate with a few of the guys in the thread and you will learn a lot. majordad
