Heath. Posted November 11, 2011 Author Report Posted November 11, 2011 nope. not even with s13 srtut tops, its too long. nooooooooooo! hahaha that wasnt what i wanted to hear haha. noob Q 2. what about the 86? that does ay Quote
ke70dave Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 yep. there are talks that if you get a fixed length one, sometimes it wont fit. i got a ae86 one that had a little adjustment in the length, boltd it on no dramas. don't pay more than 100 dollars for one. its just a bar and some stamped out round things. Chillin Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 Ill jump on this band wagon, saves starting a new thread. If I've modified my 55 strut towers and now are running 86 tops, will an 86 brace fit? or should i look for a adjustable one to account for slight differences? Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 (edited) My struts are 1010mm apart (approx) centre to centre so if yours are over or under that get an adjustable. Gimme a PM if you need an accurate measurement. EDIT: Do your strut top bolt up the same way as a 70/86? Hole position that is? Edited November 11, 2011 by blzbub666 Quote

B.L.Z.BUB Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 Sorry bro yeah, just making sure the strut top bolt orientation is the same as a 70/86 if you get what I mean. They could be the same distance apart but if the bolt holes are rotated by even 5mm it probably wont work. If ya get what mean Quote
Chillin Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 ohhh now i get it. Should be sweet as it runs through the old 55 holes with the inner most bolt bored out to suit. Ill get some pics up tomorrow with all the stuff and it may be found helpful for others using 86 setups in 55's Quote
