Ok, so Glenn has had a 3 week absence from the forums, as he has been busily working on putting a turbo on his corolla before the Nats, as he only has his phone to take pics, I took some pics for him, and he asked me to chuck them up here for people to see. It's fairly close to being finished, it runs. Just a few bits and pieces to do.

I know of one, that was the first 1ZZ FTE to ever be done... its currently making 200 kw's at the wheels, and the intercooler takes up the ENTIRE front area.

Well the beast is going in for a pigiback computer in two weeks.

But before then i need to put in a fifth injector. Think i will go for a vl commodore injector

as it will flow more and has a hose fitting for the fuel supply,

 

once it is all fitted up and the computer is dynotuned i can do a power run and see the power gain with a turbo. My guess is 85kw before turbo 110kw with turbo but we will have to wait and see :P

I will have to give him some tips on welding the pipe work first :P

bad welding works you just need to spend more time with the grinder :)

maybe next time i will get it welded properly and call on my rolla club contacts :P

Hey the differance between a bad weld and a good weld is how well you can hide it with the grinder :P

It's called "Close your eyes performance" so long as you have your eyes closed everything is fine :P

 

Brett do you have any experience with making/modifying pulleys?

what type do you need to mod or make?

A VL Water pump pulley, to fit onto my 5K :P
